Detached farmhouse. Early C18. Ham stone ashlar; single Roman clay tile roof between stepped coped gables; brick end
and intermediate chimney stacks. Two storeys, 4 bays. Thin ovolo-mould mullioned windows of 3-lights, except the outer
lower bay which are 4-light, no labels, rectangular leaded with iron-framed opening lights; to lower bay 2 a 6-fielded
panel door in architraved recess with hood mould over. C19 extensions to north gable in two levels; with a 3-light
segmental-arched casement having small- panes, then a stable building with loft over; further C19 extensions to rear.
Enclosing the front garden is an ashlar wall, varying from one to three metres high, with plinth and thin angled
timber gates; all contributing to the setting of the house.
