Farmhouse dated 1759 on beam in housepart and extended in late C18. Coursed
sandstone rubble with large quoins, now painted white. Stone slate roof
with gable chimney stacks. Original house of 2 units and 2 storeys, with
2-storey addition and a further single-storey outshut covering left half of
front. Most windows have large squared jambs, heads and sills, those in
rear wall with flush mullions also, but now altered an ground floor.
Interior: left bay divided between parlour, which contains a large ex situ
moulded beam of C16 or earlier, and an oak newel staircase. Housepart in
right bay has 2 large chamfered beams, of which first has '1759' incised on
chamfer.
