SO 60 SE HAMFALLOW -

1/217 Oakhunger Farmhouse

GV II


Farmhouse. Datestone 1777 and initials TA on north side. Random
coursed and snecked rubble sandstone, concrete tile roof, brick
stacks. T-shaped block including C19 brick extension on north-
west. 2 storeys and attic. Scattered fenestration, mostly 2 and
3-light casements with wood lintels. Back door at top of T (on
north side) has plain wood frame and plank door. C20 glazed front
door in C19 wing with gabled hood on brackets. Main wing has
large room on ground floor with very large crossing beams supported
on central square panelled pillar, and fireplaces (probably
original) at each end.
