Canal accommodation bridge. c1827. William Crosley engineer. Coursed sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings, some of the former with fine tooling. Eliptical arch/horseshoe with voussoirs - the projecting keystone rising to a chamfered band below the parapet: battered walls to either side terminate in squared piers. There is chamfered coping to top.

NB One in a series of fine bridges (and mileposts) on the Macclesfield Canal.
