Late C16 Barn. Timber framed of oak, with tall sides and no side-girts, primary wall
bracing. Roof steeply pitched with compressive collars end side purlins, clad with
corrugated iron. Main-posts jowled, with seven studs each bay of flat cross-sections.
One, midstrey with fly-hipped and Great Doors. Rafters re-used at the date this
barn was built, and originally fitted with common-collars. The walls afford evidence
for an original state of exposed framing with plaster infill.
