Cottage. Late C16 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed,
formerly partly of cruck construction, with painted brick infill and
plinth; concrete tile roof. 2-cell plan. One storey and attic. Framing:
much renewed and partly rebuilt in brick, painted black and white in
imitation; large square and rectangular panels, 2 from cill to wall-
plate and 3 to right gable end, which has collar and tie beam truss;
cruck formerly to left gable end. Two late C20 casements to ground
floor with contemporary gabled eaves dormers directly above. Ridge
stack rebuilt in late C20 brown brick immediately to-right of centre.
Prominent late C20 additions to left and rear are not of special architectural
interest. Upper and lower collars of former cruck truss have been
erected on 2 late C20 posts in garden (not included in this list).
