A C17 timber-framed and plastered house with C18 and later alterations and
additions Renovated in the C20. 2 storeys. 2 window range on the south-east
front, double- hung sashes with glazing bars. A central 6-panel door with
the upper panels glazed has a doorcase with pilasters and cornice. The north-east
front has casement windows with leaded lights. The centre part projects with
a bay window on the ground storey. Roof tiled, hipped.
Nos 9 and 12 together with Nos 1 to 3 (consec) Romans Place form a group.
