Terminal block of offices closing north end of street. Mid C20 rebuild of a
block of 4 houses of 1822-23 by William Lewis Wyatt, later altered as hotel and
destroyed in World War II. Stucco with copper mansard roof. Elevation in
sympathy with character of street but with different fenestration details from
original and lacking the focal point of the latter's Doric porch. 4 storeys and
attic. 3 windows wide with 1-window return wings. Central square headed doorway
with fanlight. Recessed square headed sashes set in segmental arched recesses
on 1st floor; 3rd floor sill course; crowning cornice and parapet. Mid C20 cast
iron area railings with urn finials.
