C16, C19. 2 storeys, 1.2.1 windows. Front (west) with gabled sides projecting
forward. Tile roof; the gable bargeboards have pierced tracery. Exposed timber frame
with close-studding and rendered infill, the recessed centre having a jettied upper
floor. The side windows are 3-light leaded casements projected as bays with tiled pent
roofs and moulded covered cills; in the centre are two 6-light mullioned and transomed
windows, and a 4-light mullioned and transomed window above the doorway, which has
4-centred arch and cut spandrels. The north elevation has an exposed frame with red
brick infill, the south has tile-hanging (with scalloped bands) of the later period.
