House. C17, altered. Coursed ironstone rubble, asbestos slate roof, tall gable
copings. Brick chimneys flanking centre bay and to right gable. Cross-passage
plan with blocked rear door. One storey and attic, 3 bays. Left bay has C20
brick buttress and C20 single and 3-light wooden casements with concrete
lintels. Centre bay has C17 3-light windows, with ovolo-moulded ironstone
mullions, the lower window with moulded cornice, the upper in tall gabled
dormer. Small fireplace window with stone surround to right. Right bay has
3-light wood and metal casement with wooden lintel, and C19 6-panelled door to
left. Right gable has 3-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion windows as in centre
bay, upper window with Tudor hoodmould. Another similar window to rear.
Interior: centre room has heavy chamfered spine beam and similar side beams on
brackets.
