Two adjoining cottages. Late C18, No 18 altered in C20. Rubble stone partly painted, stone slate roof, 3 rebuilt stone slacks. L-shape range, each cottage forming one arm, of 2 storeys. No 16 to right has one first floor window nearly central, with small pane casements and original timber lintel. Ground floor has half-glazed recessed door to left, 2-light window with 9 panes to each light in centre and very small multi-pane paired casements to right, all with original timber lintels. Possible blocked doorway to right of centre. No 18 to left has 2 windows, renewed 8-pane casements and timber lintels. Glazed door to right on ground floor. Left hand return has ground-floor bay, rear wing has C20 gabled porch and 4 small gabled dormers through eaves and mostly C20 casement fenestration.
