Uploader's Comments

--1-- One of the Belvoir Angels headstones by a local craftsman. Rectangular with round-faced winged angel and relief carved letters, to: Elizabeth the wife of William Morely d. 20th October 1735 in her 40th year. An excellent example of the type. -Afflictions sore long time I bore/ Physicians were in vain/ Till death gave ease as God did please/ To cure me of my pain-. -Tho long I lay it all was for my gain/ That I a Heavenly Kingdom might attain-.
