A C18 timber-framed and plastered building with later alterations and additions. The plinth is in weatherboarding and the front is faced with roughcast. Two storeys. Three window range, casements. The ground storey has two small splayed bay windows. Roof tiled.
Old White Horse, 1 and 2 White Horse Cottages, St Michaels Cottages, Vale House. The Folly, Tyle Barn, Rose Cottage, Butlers, House and Mount Stores, with Old Post House, Parsonage Cottage and House of Retreat form a group.
