House of early C19 appearance possibly concealing older core, 3 storeys, 4 bays
in all, the right bay projecting and with blocked windows. Stock brick with stone-coped
parapet. Gauged flat brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars in stucco-lined
reveals. Late C19 shops on ground floor, Group value.
Nos 35 to 39 (consec) together with Nos 35A and 36A form a group with the forecourt
wall to the Unitarian Chapel.
