House. C17 with C19 additions and alterations. Brick with
hipped pantile roof. Brick plinth, first floor and eaves bands,
rebated eaves, 2 ridge and 2 gable stacks, that to west external.
2 storeys plus garrets, T-plan. Partly colourwashed. South
front has central C19 gabled bay, and to left, C17 projecting bay
with shouldered shaped gable. Intermediate C20 porch with lead
roof, has to left, glazed door and to right, 2 round headed
glazing bar lights; to right, single casement. Above, to left,
blocked opening and single C20 casement; to right, casement with
segmental head, and to right again, another C20 casement. Above
again, blocked opening and single light. To left, L-plan single
storey service wing, brick with pantile roof, with door and 3 C20
casements. East front has 3 C20 casements and above a single
casement and blocked opening with segmental head. North side
has central blocked opening with above, round headed glazing bar
sash, flanked by single Yorkshire sashes. Above, central blocked
opening flanked by single Yorkshire sashes. All sashes have
segmental heads. Service wing, to right, has C20 part-glazed
door and 3 casements.
