Ha-ha retaining wall: C18. Rubble sandstone revetment wall on east
side of ha-ha ditch. At intervals, projecting rubble stones act as
steps and it is breached at its centre by a causeway with a wooden
gate.
This acted as barrier between the west edge of the gardens and the
deer park beyond.
