Gun bollard. Early C19. Twenty-four pounder gun, standing about 5 ft out of the ground; assumed to be a naval gun from a wooden fighting ship. Visible barrel tapers to a moulding, the mouthpiece being bell-shaped and moulded, with a bore of 5 ins.
