At right angles to the road. Late C18/early C19. 2 storeys. Rendered. Moulded
cornice, hipped slate roof. Centre of front breaks forward slightly. 3 windows
with plain surrounds and sill brackets. 3-light canted bay and a 3-light window
to left and right on ground floor. Glazing bars to upper floor only. Big central
Tuscan doorcase with open pediment. Modern double doors, small semi-circular
doorway with fanlight and 6-panel door on street front.
Mary Street House, the Lawn, Unitarian Chapel and the School, Mary Street, form a
group with all the listed buildings in Mount Street and Vivary Park. Wilton House
in Hammets Walk, and Nos 1 to 14 (consec) Upper High Street.
