Built 1721. Frontage altered with C19 stucco decoration. 2 storeys, heavy moulded
cornices. Both storeys divided by Corinthian pilasters (in pairs to centre).
Hipped old tile roof. 5 windows (end windows blocked on upper floor). Architrave
surrounds with imposts and bases. Central doorcase with Corinthian pilasters support
triangular pediment. Double 3-panel doors, Doorway flanked by wrought-iron lamps
with scrolled standards. Very good early C18 interior with square Corinthian columns,
the full height of the building, Oak galleries and carved pulpit. Brass chandeliers.

Mary Street House, the Lawn, Unitarian Chapel and the School, Mary Street, form a
group with all the listed buildings in Mount Street and Vivary Park. Wilton House
in Hammets Walk, and Nos 1 to 14 (consec) Upper High Street.
