Farmhouse, now house. Dated 1720 on door lintel. Coursed sandstone rubble
with ashlar dressings. Roughly-dressed plinth; throughstones in rear and rear
outshut walls; stone-flagged roof with left stone gable coping and rendered
chimney. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Central boarded door, with lift-scutcheon latch
in square-headed stone surround with lintel incised TCM 1720. Ground-floor
windows are 2-light horizontal sliding sashes with flat stone lintels and flat
stone sills. First-floor 2-light windows have flat-fronted mullions and are
single-chamfered. Quoins visible at left only; right end obscured by later
building breaking forward. Left end chimney. Rear outshut with full-width
catslide roof. Interior: panelled cupboard, formerly holding box-bed, in
panelled screen at right of entrance; chamfered segmental fire-arch with salt-
cupboard; rear close-string stair parallel with main wall has panelled handrail
on splat balusters carved in imitation of barley-sugar twist.
Left extension of c.1900 and farmbuildings attached to right not of interest.
