House. C17 with C19 alterations and additions. Sandstone rubble with ashlar
dressings and quoins; Welsh slate roof with red and yellow brick chimneys;
gable copings. U-plan with ranges parallel to street. 3 storeys, one wide bay
on street elevation. Single-chamfered windows, irregularly-placed, of 3 lights
on ground floor and 2 on upper floors; plain stone surrounds to lower 2 with
fixed lights; horizontal sliding sash on top floor. Small square window at
right on ground floor is blocked. Left chimney on external stack; roof copings
on curved kneelers, the rear one missing. Left return has 2-storey section
completing range between gabled bays; central paired half-glazed doors in raised
stone surrounds, that at left with flat Tudor arch; left gable has C19 label
moulds over 2-light windows; right gable has first-floor level corbels supporting
chimney stack; small square window beneath in stone surround; at right of stack,
similarly-shaped windows under label moulds on each upper floor.
U-plan roof is pent over central entrance bay.
Interior: 4-centred-arched chamfered stone fire-arch in front first-floor room.
