Coped slab. Grey granite slab commemorating Charles Attwood of Hollywood House
and Tow Law, 1791-1875. Incised cross with foliated arms on ridge of coping;
inscription around base of coping. Historical note: Attwood founded the iron
works which brought much prosperity to Wolsingham, and like Bessemer developed
a new method of steel-making. Included for historical interest.
