Gate piers, gates and retaining walls flanking path to church. Mid C19.
Sandstone ashlar piers; coursed squared sandstone walls with ashlar dressings;
wrought iron gates. 3 chamfered square piers, with plinths and cornices and
high overlapping pyramidal coping, form vehicle and pedestrian entrances.
Spike-headed gates have dog bars and central band of diagonal pattern with
round bosses. Retaining walls have chamfered plinth and coping and taper
towards church.
