GV II

House, early to mid C17. Large dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys with
single storey aisle to rear. 3-room plan. Weathered plinth, continuous string
course over ground floor windows. Service end originally had 2 small chamfered
windows now blocked and replaced with C19 plain sashed windows (altered to
casements). Basket arched doorway has chamfered surround, protected by mid C20
open stone porch; over is small 2-light chamfered Window; former cross-window
(fire-window); 6-light double chamfered mullioned housebody window with 5-light
window over; 5-light parlour window with 4-light window over. Rear has 2-light
chamfered mullioned windows (lacking mullions) and 2 doorways with monolithic
jambs, 3 stacks to ridge and one other to rear aisle.
