House and attached barn partly mid C18 rebuilt early C19 now forms 3 dwellings.
Watershot masonry, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. South front has 3 bays of flat
faced mullioned windows of 4 lights to ground floor and 6 lights to 1st floor
with doorways with monolithic jambs to either side of central bay. Gutter
brackets. Attached to right hand end is single-cell cottage with lower roof
line with 4-light window with 2 of 2 lights over to 1st floor and doorway with
monolithic jambs. Quoins. Rear has 3 bays of chamfered mullioned windows,
probably reused. 1st bay has former 5-light window with 6-light over (lacking
most mullions) and doorway with monolithic jambs; 2nd bay has 6-light window
with 7-light over; doorway with tie-stone jambs; 3rd bay has 6-light window with
same over to 1st floor. 3 stacks to ridge. Attached to left hand end is single
storey rear to single-cell cottage with 2-light flat faced mullioned windows.
Right hand return wall has former cart entry with straight lintel and composite
jambs (now blocked). This attached building is formed of a cottage to the south
and a barn to the north with a single-storey aisle.
