Nos 17 and 18 under one roof span and with elevations of similar design. C18.
3-storeys and attic. Brick with moulded brick cornice. Modern tile roof half
hipped to West. 2 hipped dormers with Yorkshire type casements. 3 sash window
(no glazing bars) to upper floors; rubbed brick voussoirs; modern plate-glass
shop front on ground floor; entrance to yard at east end concealed by plain
double wooden doors; fascia with dentilled cornice extends both over yard and
over door.

All the listed buildings in Corn Market and Market Place form a group.
