Said to have been once a flock mill. Thought to be one of the few surviving
windmill bases in South Gloucestershire. Possibly therefore C17, or more
likely C18. Considerable addition. The windmill tower is rubble with random
slag and with putlock holes. Arched doorway to ground, cambered head openings
above. At angle of 2 storey outbuilding, lower floor rubble with black slag
quoins, upper floor a brick addition. Modern pantile roof. Wing to left
with hipped old pantile roof.
