Late C17 or early C18 farmhouse with 'L'-plan. Two storeys, rendered.
Pantile roof. Two windows, altered, 2 and 3-light wood mullion windows.
Central door with stopped ogee surround. Interior: plan consists of 2
rooms opening off central lobby and staircase. 'L'-plan rear wing, stairs
in angle. The doors in the lobby are of the moulded plank sort and have
ogee stop-moulded surrounds. The staircase is probably mid-late C17 with
moulded risers, one flight projects into the east ground floor room with
turned balusters and pagoda-shaped reveals (in style similar to mid-C17
staircases in the area). The west ground floor room has ogee moulded beams
and cornice to wide fireplace. The room above it has a cupboard with moulded
plank door with ventilated door above which has turned balusters, also
cornice to fireplace. First floor east room has ogee-moulded ceiling
beam.
