Circa 1700 with older portions. Rendered with pantile roof on eaves, hipped
to left. Two rendered stacks on ridge, one stack in diminished stages at rear.
Two storeys, 4 windows, later 2-light wooden casements. Square head door-opening
with good semi-circular scallop-shell hood on enriched folded scroll brackets,
studded door with vertical battens. One mullion window on ground floor to
rear. Gabled extension to rear with high pitched roof and 6 panel door, contains
a bread oven.
Interior: through-passage type. Wide beam chamfers with stops. South ground
floor room has Tudor arch fireplace with wooden lintel. A few splat balusters
to stairs on first floor landing and a diaper patten to ends of risers. One
door on first floor retains stop chamfer surround and 3 are of the moulded
plank variety. Garden forecourt with tall fat square stone gate piers with
moulded stone caps and large ball finials, rubble forecourt walls, part with
black slag.
