House now shop. Early C19. Painted brickwork in Flemish Bond, rubbed flat arches,
first floor stucco band, stone cills. Hipped slate roof of low pitch, with plain
eaves. Two storeys, four windows. Victorian plate glass sashes in reveals. Thin
doorcase with moulded cornice on brackets, simple moulded architrave enclosing a
fanlight of decorative metalwork. The south corner of the building embodies the
octagonal gate-pier of the former Corn Exchange.
