Originally known as Jean Royd. House of 1704 refronted mid C19. Now forms 2
dwellings. South front of 2 storeys and 3 cells. 1st cell has doorway with
tie-stones and re-used lintel bearing date and initials 'I E R' set within a
tressure. All are wide flat faced mullioned windows of 3 lights to each floor
and to each cell, (some mullions removed). Rear wing has quoins and preserves
some windows with double chamfered surrounds but altered to modern glazing,
originally 4-light windows. Stacks removed.
