Exterior late C19 masking a timber-framed open hall house with internal jetty
probably dating from the mid C16. 2 Storeys. Ground floor red brick, 1st floor
tile hung tiled roof with bands of fishscale tiles and modern chimney stack. 2
gabled casements to 1st floor and casements with cambered head linings to ground
floor. 2 doorcases with gabled weatherboards.

The building was originally a 4 bay timber-framed open hall house with an internal
jetty and 2 floored ends. The jetty is visible but the hall was floored over in
the C17. There are also exposed curved braces and part of the original lath and
plaster infilling. Inglenook fireplaces.
