11.5.49 The Old Rectory

Early C19. A symmetrical south front of 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows, with
a lower 1 window addition on the west end of a slightly later date (altered).
Steep hipped slate roof, 2 flat-roofed dormer with sashes. The walling is in
blue brick headers, with flush red dressings (rubbed flat arches, quoins), plinth.
Sashes in exposed frames. Tuscan porch of thin proportions, fanlight, ½-glazed
door. The east end has a semicircular 2 storeyed projection, retaining the
central windows. The west wing has a tile-hung (scalloped bands) upper floor.
