built as coastguard cottages".

Said to have been built as lifeboatmen's cottages. Mid to late C19. 2 storeys,
rendered, with Welsh slate roof. Terrace row. 1 window each to both storeys,
except for No 1, which has 2 hung sashes, with glazing bars. Each with gabled porch
with Welsh slate roof and round-headed door of 5 panels, the upper 2 panels fielded
(glazed to No 1). Porches have round-headed recesses to side. 5 brick stacks with
dentil cornice, and 1 rendered. No 1 is painted to front and rendered to rear,
the others painted brick. Sliding sash windows to rear. '
