House, late C16 or early C17, with possible earlier core. 2-cell lobby-
entrance plan; 1 1/2 storeys and attics. Timber-framed and rendered. Thatched
roof with eyebrow casement dormers and axial chimney of red brick. C20
casements and oak battened and boarded entrance door. The first floor
structures in hall and parlour are of different workmanship; that in the hall,
to left, shows signs of insertion. Possibly a 2-cell C15 or early C16 open
hall house, converted with insertion of chimney, c.1600.
