Former farmhouse, early or mid C18 with alterations of c,1930. 2 storeys. 3-
cell lobby-entrance plan. Timber-framed, clad in hardboard sheeting, once
plastered. Concrete tiled roof, formerly pantiled. An axial chimney of C18
red brick and a C19 gable chimney to left. Small-pane steel casements of
C.1930. Plaintiled entrance porch of c.1930: boarded and battened door.
Interior: Complete and interesting oak framing exposed throughout. Every
storey post has at its head a well-formed scrolled jowl. Good chamfered main
beams and on-edge floor joists. Back-to-back lintelled open fireplaces.
