GV II

House. Mid C19. Sandstone ashlar with plinth and quoins; graduated Lakeland
slate roof with stone ridge tiles, ashlar stacks. 2 storeys, 3 windows and set-
back 2-storey one-bay service entrance at-right. Half-glazed 4-panel door and
2-pane overlight in central Tuscan stone surround. Round-headed sash with stone
arch over door; wedge stone lintels over sashes with glazing bars in outer bays;
all windows have bracketed sills. Low-pitched hipped roof on bracketed wide
eaves has end and central chimneys with wide coping. Right set-back bay has
boarded pent porch under blank first floor; battlemented eaves parapet; no roof
visible and right chimney.
