Farmhouse. Mid C19. Coursed squared sandstone with ashlar plinth, quoins
and dressings; roof of graduated Lakeland slate. 2 storeys, 3 windows.
Central renewed door and 2-pane overlight in hollow reveal, and paired 8-pane
sashes in deep chamfered reveals, under label moulds. Prominent first-floor
band. Wide gutter cornice. Low-pitched hipped roof has 2 groups of 3 square
ashlar chimneys with plinths and cornices. Rear elevation shows central stair
window with intersecting glazing bars and 2-centred-arched stock-brick head.
Interior has dog-leg stair with round handrail on stick balusters; turned newel
with round cap; shaped tread ends. Window shutters in all rooms.
