Two headstones.
1. 1782 to John Wilson. Sandstone. 1.5 metres high with shaped top and
moulded border. Raised cartouche flanked by scrolled foliage.
Inscription reads:
Here lies the body of John
Son of Robert and Rachel Wilson
Who departed this Life
June 13th 1782 Aged 15 Years.
No Crime did ever my Consience sing
But Death came with its sharpest Wing
And quickly sent me to my Grave
I hope that God my Soul will Save.
I know this Child his God did fear
And always lov'd his Parents dear.
2. 1777 to Hannah Stockburn. Sandstone. 0.75 metre high with shaped top
and inscription.
