Grotto, probably late C19, of massive uncut pieces of red sandstone,
built to form a bank 4 metres high between garden and New Road. A
linear grotto which forms a rocky, winding passage parallel with its
face to the garden, through which there are several openings.
The west side of the grotto structure forms the boundary wall to New
Lane.
