House, now two dwellings. Late C17 and C19 alterations. Brick with late C17
square ridge stack having narrow recessed panels to the sides. Large
original side stack to rear wall. Three bay, lobby entry plan. Three
storeys, including the attic storey which was probably added in C19. Band at
original eaves height. Four C18 window openings to each storey, some with
remade surrounds but with original brickwork to arches. Original doorway
opening to lobby entry. Inside: Narrow stairbay at low end of centre room
with two upper flights remaining from original staircase, although the attic
flight might be reset. Symmetrical turned balusters, closed-string, and
square newels with recessed panels. Ogee stopped chamfers to main beams in
each of the three bays. The right hand bay has c1730 mouldings and keyblocks
to round headed doorway arches, now blocked.
