Estate cottage: c1879 by and for John Douglas. English garden wall
bond orange brick, Welsh slate roof, central ridge brick chimney.
1-storey and attic 2-bay front. 3 chamfered bands and minimal
buttresses at the corners. Band of brick diapering with plaster
infill at 1st floor. Ground storey has single light and 5-light
mullioned window with semi-circular brick heads. Left end has a
projecting bay window under a lean-to roof, similar band cf diapering
and a 4-light window and impressed plaster decoration in the gable.
right side is similar with a hipped porch and late C20 extension in
style.
