House. Early C19, with extension c 1947, probably by Peter Atkinson for Edward
Lascelles, 1st Earl of Harewood, Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2-cell
central-entry plan, double-depth with rear wing and C20 extension to left. 2
storeys. 3-bay symmetrical facade. Doorway with tiestone jambs has flat-arch
with voussoirs with 9-pane sash window above. Flanked by tri-partite sash
windows to both floors, all windows with flat arches. Gable stack to left at
junction with C20 extension in keeping. Stack to rear pitch at junction with
wing: ground floor altered to garage with 2 sash windows to 1st floor.
