Steps in passage-way between Old Queen Street and St James's Park. Late C17
associated with Royal Cockpit, rebuilt 1964 as part of the rebuilding of Nos 36
and 38 Old Queen Street. Granite steps and red multi-coloured brick flank
walls. The steps form a curved flight. West side of flank wall has Windsor
lantern mounted on scrolled bracket. The Cockpit was demolished in 1810.
