House. Late C17/early C18 altered and partly rebuilt C20. Marlstone rubble with
wooden lintels; thatch roof with brick stacks. 3-unit plan in 2 builds. 2
storeys plus attic. Left half of front is probably earlier and has, at each
floor, a 2-light casement below a stop-chamfered lintel, but is partly obscured
by a stone-slated outshut containing an entrance. Right half of front was partly
rebuilt following a fire, but retains large canted bay windows of c.1800 which
flank the entrance. Interior not inspected. Large thatched extension to left,
with 2 garage doors, and the range attached to right known as "The Wing" are C20
and are not of special architectural interest. Included for group value.
