Wall, gates and gate piers. 1898-1900. 'By C.F.A. Voysey. Slate and
limestone. Wall of coursed rubble has coping of vertical stones. Gates to
north end have round gate piers with flat circular caps supporting small
boulders. Paired plank gates have long strap hinges with heart motifs. Gate to
south has square dressed slate piers with flat square caps supporting large
limestone boulders. Gate has vertical slats and diagonal brace; strap hinges
extend the full width of the gate, with heart motifs; latch has counter weight.
Gate pier to north is reconstructed.
