House. Mid C18 origin altered early to mid C19 with insertion of good shop front, the
facade rebuilt in 1930s but retaining the shop. Four storeys, brick upper floors with
metal casements. The early to mid C19 shop front is of timber and stucco with two
large windows, central shop entrance and doorway group access to upper floors to left,
all framed by pilaster with rosettes to necking, bed mould to fascia and moulded
cornice surmounted by pierced ironwork cresting and with sculptured Royal Arms to
centre. Ornamental cast iron area railings. The shop windows divided by glazing bars
into 3 x 4 panes and with a top row of octagonal framed panes, corniced hood on wrought
iron brackets to central shop doorway, the door panelled and glazed. Listed for shop
front.
