Chapel, now house. C14 and converted into house mid C19. Squared and
coursed flints and plain tiled roof; with rear wings of brown brick and
plain tile roofs. Orginally the chapel was built on an undercroft, now
2 storeys, garret and basement, with single stage buttresses. Liturgical
north wall with blocked arches and 2 shouldered lights at basement level.
Liturgical east wall with head of east window, a quatrefoil over 2 ogee-
headed lights. Otherwise two Cl9 2 light mullioned window on each floor,
with Cl9 chamfered doorways to basement and ground floor and boarded doors.
C19 and mid C20 brick extensions to rear. No internal features survive.
Built as private chapel to Thorne Manor (demolished C19).
