Circa 1845, probably built by Thomas Cubitt. Cement-rendered square gateway
with long and short quoins, modillion cornice and parapet. Round-headed rusticated
carriage arch with royal cartouches in the spandrels. The gateway is flanked
by single storey lodges which have 2 round-headed windows each, quoins, modillion
cornice and parapet over. Windows with glazing bars intact and dripstones
over supported on corbel brackets.
