Stable block with attached building known as the Hospital. Late C18 or early
C19. Stables in coursed and squared limestone, roof concrete slates; attached
building in rubble or concrete block and stone slate roof. The stable lies back
from and roughly parallel with the road, and the 'Hospital' is at right angles
at the right end, gable to road. Stables have coped gable to left, 2 dormers
with 2-light steel casements above two plank doors and a small square light.
Loading door in gable; towards the house are two large dormers. The 'Hospital'
has C20 stonework towards the house, plain walls to 3 faces, one garage door and
pigeon openings. V.R. letter box at road side. Forms part of farm group
creating open courtyard towards road.
